Having a go - being introduced to something new. Creating an initial interest. Can be done by anyone with any skill level.	Taking initial interest further, concentrate on specific skills. Arts workers involved. Continuous support from known workers.

Honing skills. Accessing opportunities outside of the direct community. Engaging with training or education. Gaining confidence. Acting on own initiative without previous support.	Education at higher level/degree in arts or creative industries. Making arts or creative industries an occupation.

Manchester Youth Arts Network
The network is aiming to involve as many people as possible and has been consulting Youth Arts deliverers, Young artists and Young people involved in the arts.
