![]() Manchester Youth Arts Network now has it very own mentoring programme that is aimed at young people in Manchester who wish to develop their skills in the arts with a view to pursue the arts as a future career. Mentoring is open to young people aged 14-21. Once you have registered on the project you will be matched with a mentor who is fully trained and is working professionally within the arts and creative industries. Mentors work with young people for 1-2 hours a month on a voluntary basis to help develop the skills, knowledge and aspirations of their mentee. I want to be a mentor / I want to be mentored I am already a mentor / I am already being mentored
The programme has been running for two years and we are now ready to train our third cohort of mentors to help expand and develop the programme into an exciting future. We are seeking arts professionals working from across the arts and creative industries to volunteer 1 or 2 hours of their time per month to help a young person. Volunteer Mentors will complete a training programme that is fully accredited, recognised nationally and FREE.
