Awards for All is a Lottery grants programme aimed at local communities. We award grants of between £500 and £5000 in a simple straightforward way. This site tells you how to apply.

Arts Council England is the national development agency for the arts in England, distributing public money from Government and the National Lottery. Find out about funding streams and how to apply. Also has a section on jobs.

Arts Council of Wales - the National Assembly sponsored public body which is the principal funders of the arts in Wales.

The Charities Information Bureau website provides Help & Advice Web Pages for community groups and voluntary organisations who are seeking funding.

The Arts Council of Northern Ireland web site. Details of all the awards it makes. Includes funding for, art criticism, young artists, arts & disability, travel, art & artists abroad, artists in education, community artists, plus more.

The Heritage Lottery Fund distributes money raised by the national Lottery to support all aspects of heritage in the UK, from historic buildings and museums to archives, nature conservation and oral history. It provides both capital grants (for buildings and equipment) and time-limited activity grants. Heritage includes people as well as places, and so our funding also covers cultural and local traditions. All the details are on this site.

The Community Fund distributes money raised by the Lottery to support charities and voluntary groups. They also make grants to UK agencies working abroad. They give grants mainly to help meet the needs of those at greatest disadvantage in society, and also to improve the quality of life in the community. The Learning and Skills Council (LSC) is responsible for funding and planning education and training for over 16-year-olds in England. Find out more on this site including a section for `youth' with latest news both nationally and regionally.

The New Opportunities Fund is a Lottery Distributor created in 1998 to award grants to education, health and environment projects throughout the UK. Many of our grant programmes focus particularly on those in society who are most disadvantaged. All details on this site, plus job opportunities section.

Search the DSC trusts (Directory of Social Change) database anytime, anywhere, using their new internet-based service. It contains all the same data as the Grant-making Trusts CD-ROM, but will be regularly updated throughout the year. Subscribers will be sent e-mails alerting them when updates are made.

The Directory of Social Change helps voluntary and community organisations to thrive through advice on: how to raise the money they need; how to manage their resources to maximum effect; how to influence the right people; what their rights and responsibilities are; how to plan and develop for the future.
