North West Disability Arts Forum - is a Disabled and Deaf People's arts organisation
run by and for Disabled and Deaf people. Aims to facilitate the active participation
of Disabled and Deaf people in all aspects of the Arts and creative industries,
and both promote and celebrate Disability and Deaf Arts and Culture. Based in
Liverpool City Centre, it covers Merseyside, Cheshire, and work throughout the
U.K. Activities include:- Developing Disability and Deaf arts projects; Maintaining
a register of Disabled and Deaf artists; Actively promoting Disabled and Deaf
artists; Research and development; Supporting other Disabled and Deaf peoples'
arts organisations; Offering advice and information; Providing a Disability Action
Training service; Acting as an access consultancy.
