A great opportunity to promote your organisation to young people in Manchester!

hub4 is a £1 million national partnership project between Artswork, BBC Blast and youth charity The Prince's Trust, funded by the Big Lottery. The project aims to work with 5000 young people across the UK, improving education, training and employment opportunities, as well as enhancing young people's self-confidence, skills and abilities.

hub4 will primarily work with young people between the ages of 16-25 who are not in education, employment or training in order to improve their life skills and employability. The project is working in 4 areas of the country: Manchester, Newcastle, Norwich and Southampton. Using an arts-based programme, the project will build on participants' interest in the arts and media, allowing them to gain accreditation and move on positively with their lives.

Over the next few months, hub4 is delivering go4 - a series of events across the country, and we will be coming to Zion Arts Centre on Thursday 27 March. The days consist of workshops in various different media, arts and performance skills in which young people can take part.

We would like to give these young people a chance to find out what other arts activities and projects are running in their area which they can take part in, and signpost them towards local arts organisations.

We plan to have an exhibition space at each event, setting up stands with promotional material and give organisations a chance to come along to talk and interact with the participants about what you do, especially with regards to the opportunities available to young people. The participants will have access to the stands during their lunch break, which will be from 12-2pm, giving organisations the chance to set up in the morning.

If you'd to take advantage of this great opportunity please contact Rachel Brownlow on volunteer@artswork.org.uk
