CONNECT DANCE NETWORK MEETING
Date: 14th December 2006, 6.00pm - 8.00pm

CONNECT is a network for anyone professionally involved with dance in Greater Manchester including community practitioners, independent dancers, teachers and choreographers.
The next CONNECT networking event will be taking place on Thursday 14th December, 6pm to 8pm at Zion Arts, Stretford Road Hulme. We are delighted to be showing some of the films made as part of the North West Digital Dance Forum's recent 2-Week Dance, Video and New Media Training Course run in conjunction with WFA Media and Culture Centre. There will also be guest speakers, a Christmas buffet and drinks. This meeting is open to all dance artists in the area with an opportunity to join CONNECT on the night if you have not already done so.
The event will provide a great way for artists, groups, and organisations to network, a chance for you to promote your work and celebrate dance projects which have taken place over the last 12 months. If you have any leaflets about your work bring them along to distribute!

Youth Dance England Conference 19 - 20 April 2007
Youth Dance England have announced details of their 2007 Conference ‘Connecting young people with dance: the impact we make’. This will take place at Liverpool’s Hope University from 19th - 20th April 2007. It is aimed at dance artists, development workers, funders, leaders, policy makers, managers and teachers.
